Ive read all the threads claiming how you need high specs to run this game but my specs are average and im running the game at constant 60fps sometimes more.

SPECS:
windows vista
intel core 2 duo T8300 2.4 ghz
4gb ram
NVIDIA GEFORCE 8400 GS

why am i getting constant 60 fps and playability with these low specs?
is this normal?

i think your specs is enough good for emulator

Amazing. We even get complaints about games running full speed on low specs now. 0_o

its nothing special a Q9000 clocked @2ghz can also run 100% for FFXII

the FF are simply not very demanding

You're probably using Native resolution then? You're missing out if you don't use a high internal resolution; it looks much better than the normal PS2. However, it would require a better graphics card.

FF12 is more demanding if you are not able to use DX10, well that and no speedhacks makes it real slow specially on cutscenes.

example, if blackscreen, or at start up, having 100%
if cutscene, 80% or 70%
if on game, 75%

I am contented with that,
but I am amazed 100% LOL!!!
we have the same specs minus ur vid card.

your cpu speed is to low
