I was playing my Final Fantasy XII (NA version) just fine with full speed; but when I tried to play the japanese disc, the cut-scenes skip a beat every few seconds. When the skip occurs, the console window writes a line of message, "sceMpegGetPicture is aborted". Is there a way to fix this issue with the JPN version of the game? Thanks.

not sure... try using the SPU2-X plugin, this should be fine in the latest PCSX2 beta I think.

Here are my settings:
PCSX2 - beta 1474 Graphics: GSDX 1479 (MSVC 15.00, SSE41) 0.1.15 Sound: SPU2-X 1.1.0 Controller: LilyPad svn(r1388) 0.10.0 Cdvdrom: Linuz Iso CDVD 0.9.0 Bios: Japan v01.00 By using the latest beta 1474, not only does the abort message pops up every few seconds, the game screen also flashes (as if I turned off/on the screen real fast constantly). When I was using beta 1329, there was no flashing problem, but the abort message is still there. This is only limited to the japanese version, both of the PCSX-2 beta builds play the NA version just fine. Thanks for the reply above, and any additional help would be appreciated. |
