excuse me, I have a problem with Final Fantasy XII: while starting the game I get a black screen or the video appears and disappears quickly, what should I do?

I think FFXII had a crc fix for the movies soo your version is probably not included for the fix. Post your game crc(well if you post emulog.txt it'll be already there).

Edit: the fix was only for PAL version anyway soo that will not be the case in US one.

Serial = SLUS-20963
Name = Final Fantasy XII
Region = NTSC-U
Compat = 5

same code as my FFXII import, and works fine with SVN.

Quote:(SYSTEM.CNF) Detected PS2 Disc = cdrom0:\SLUS_209.63;1
(SYSTEM.CNF) Software version = 1.00
(SYSTEM.CNF) Disc region type = NTSC
ELF (cdrom0:\SLUS_209.63;1) Game CRC = 0x0779FBDB, EntryPoint = 0x00180008
(SYSTEM.CNF) Detected PS2 Disc = cdrom0:\SLUS_209.63;1
(SYSTEM.CNF) Software version = 1.00
(SYSTEM.CNF) Disc region type = NTSC

all i can suggest is disabling all hacks, and if that doesn't fix it, its probably the disk image itself.

i also noticed the emulator is trying to access a pnach file that does not meet the required specification in your log.

restore the default clamping mode.

and use the internal iso reader instead of a plugin where possible.

You seem to be using old versions of the plugins, try using all r4600 or the higher revision numbers as possible. (r3878 are form an older beta, r4600 are from the latest stable)

You still didn't post your SPU2-X settings.
