Hey
when i tried to play final fantasy X on the pcsx2
the game went very slowly for me
here are my computer specs
Processor: Intel R Core TM i5-42IOU CPU @ 1.70GHZ 2.40 GHZ
Ram: 8.00GB
system:64bit

In order to help you further with your problem, please make sure the following are all provided.
- Your hardware specs - CPU, Graphics Card, Memory, Operating System.
- The version of PCSX2 you are using.
- Any non default settings you are using.
- What games you are trying to play and if you are playing them from ISO or DVD.

i am just using the default settings
i am trying to play Final fantasy X using the ISO, but i own the final fantasy X DVD game as well
and my Graphics card is nvidia Card
and windows 8.1

Try using some speedhacks to get better speed and, use hardware mode instead of software mode to get better performance in the game.

hey
i tried all of that
and i have nirvada i5 graphics card
so do you think i need a nirvada i7 graphics card then for my windows 8.1 acer laptop
to make the pcsx2 run more smoother and faster

even though FFX is more or less a lightweight I still think that 1.7 ghz is still too low even for FFX.

Well that cpu is not that bad. I guess for FFX it will be sufficient.
