SO PLEASE if anyone know how to speed up videos please shere with me, BTW speed hacks not helping. they just give false fps but video speed doesn't change, auodio becomes faster but wery glichy.
oh and i'm using newest PCSX2 0.9.7 beta (r3878).
please help i'm desperate Sad

Get a faster CPU or watch the videos in youtube or somewhere else (it's like 11 in total FMVs).

The game's videos are so slow that there's a PCSX2 benchmark based on them:

Known bug, not corrected yet.
you have to switch to sfotware mode to avoid glithces during fmvs, but won't be able to speed them up.
At least with that PC

That's not very serious, anyways. That game has something like 3-4 Fmvs

He or she needs a very powerfull CPU to emulate the videos at full speed, and overclocked until 4Ghz

Question: Can the FFX video hack under "Game fixes" be used in FFX-2 as well? Using r4072, the videos don't seem to lag that bad for me (though I use speedhacks so I digress Tongue), but the screen flickers constantly and looks pixelated whenever it's playing a video. I'd like them to be watchable even if they play at slow speed.

nope.
that hack is for FFX only.
The only way to watch FFX-2 FMVs without any glitch is using software mode

you guys telling me to get faster cpu, look at the screenshot, cpu use is just 38%^^ i just need the way to make emulator use at least 76% of my cpu and i will get 50fps which is fine in pal game

Here's the thing, you have a quad core CPU and PCSX2 only uses 2 cores for that scene, that 38% usage represent using the first core fully and part of the second, which is what's slowing you down (using the first one fully). If you had a dual core it would probably show ~76% instead, and with a 4GHz+ dual core it would mean full speed probably, but with a slow quad core core that's what you get right there.

If you want to use the 100% of that quad core you'd have to use the software renderer and raise the SW threads to 3 then render a scene where it'd be slow, but then you wouldn't have the high resolution benefits and for the FMVs it doesn't matter, won't make a difference if you have a quad or not, what matters is the CPU clock speed.

NOTE: the fix recommended here also applys to the .hack series.

the 4 Originals worked fine but, the .hack GU games needed to run in software mode.
