Final fantasy x-2
#1
Sorry if this isn't the right section.

My question is that is there any way to speed up the game. My mission is to speed up the final fantasy x-2 fights and why im doing this? I want to powerlevel my characters. I have now used the thing that i remove framelimiter but it raises the game fps almost every places like only 10-20.
So if there is someone who knows how to raise it more, or someone who knows that there is now way to raise it anymore, please reply.

Thanks

Overclock your CPU? Wacko

The fights are taxing for your GPU.

When you have the limiter on, what does the GS percentage say (along the top bar of the emulation window)?

He currently gets ~15 FPS. Assume that his CPU clock speed is 2.0Ghz. You want him to overclock it to 8Ghz or something? Blink

He meant that when he removed the limiter, he got an extra 10fps on top of what he had, so it's safe to assume that he means he got 60/70fps (no region specified).

Don't know if this helps any way but my:

CPU: Amd athlon ii x4 640 processor 3.00GHz

GPU: Amd radeon hd 6570

And yeah, whit limiter on my fps is about 60. When i take limiter off my fps grows only to 70-80. When i played ffx i managed to get about 130+fps so is it that i need better graphics card, to grow fps more whit limiter off in ffx2?

Don't compare FFX results with FFX-2 results. FFX and FFX-2 use a completely different engine plus FFX used that mixture of prerendered with realtime graphics where FFX-2 we can say that renders everything realtime (except a couple of stuff). What about playing with the 8-bit texture setting in GSdX?

Didn't really compare, just made a point that do i need better graphics card, but anyway i try whit that 8-bit texture, thanks.
