Final fantasy xii performance issues
#1
hello. second post here, i was having trouble with final fantasy xii in the town areas where a lot of npcs are i get slowdowns, and i noticed a slowdown in the first area of the tutorial too, but most notablñy in cutscenes, in fights its all good i've had solid 55/60 fps, whille in all of the said locations i get 45 fps, no idea why this happens, now then onto my machine info

I've never played that game (on PS2 or PCSX2) but I'm guessing the problem is your Intel HD graphics. Not sure how demanding the game is but I would try turning down the speedhacks to 0 (EE and VU) and try enabling the MTVU hack also. For your graphics I would try changing from from hardware to software in the renderer and change the rendering threads to 3 under "Software Render Settings".
