I KNOW it's a Mac issue but I've got the thing up and running properly in Windows and, for the most part, running very fast in Mac. Plus, nobody reads that Mac forum.
Maybe someone would know the answer here as it's a cross-platform issue?
Here's a vid of where the slowdown is occurring, hopefully that might narrow down the problem:
