Fix to play Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure
#11
I thought it was extreme when i read it, but read from others it was easy to overclock. But nah, this build is just some cheap one i did with a Arctic Cooler 11 http://www.frostytech.com/articleimages/...p_pspc.jpg
So around 3Ghz sounds fair then. My i7 is on 4,8 with closed water cooling system, a prebuilt one.

Damnit, i cannot seem to get access to the CPU host and OC the CPU. It must be locked since it's an OEM.. I will look for an unlock or BIOS upgrade tomorrow then..
But i've never had any trouble with my i7 so i never look Smile But it is around 45-50C when just doing minor stuff like Photoshop or having several programs running and 55-65 when playing games i think (Depending on what too though, higher if more demanding ofc). Right now when i have Chrome and other stuff open it sits at 38C Smile

Yeah i am pretty impressed too tbh Smile All i have is a Corsair water cooler H50 (http://www.corsair.com/hydro-series-h50-cpu-cooler.html)
But i got a kickass airflow with my case and frequently apply new thermal paste (like every 6 month or so, whenever i feel like cleaning the computer).
Anyway, gonna hit the bed and try to overclock tomorrow. Hopefully it will help. Will post results.
Thanks for looking into this Smile

Right, i got myself a Core 2 Quad instead and my game has a mich better FPS. From the looks of it, i can only see a FPS drop (which is quite minor) in a certain game world so i can live with that Smile I also found out that my mobo had a secret BIOS where i would have to press F11 to enter a PW and hold CTRL+ALT and hit the power button to get there. From then i could OC with only 3% which is better than nothing i guess Smile But thanks for the help Smile
