Frame Rate Drop
#1
Hello there,

I've been playing Dog's Life, I got to an area called Ski Slope (If you don't play the game it's about half way through the game). Once I collected 100% of everything in this area the frame rate of the game dropped from 60 to 20 and below. Frame rate also drops to around 40 in the main menu when selecting the save file but that's no big deal. The game was playing perfectly in 60 frames per second the entire time till I reached that point in game. The game is unplayable in 20 frames per second as it feels like the game is running in slow motion and the sound is distorted as well. When I load the level it instantly goes from 60 to 18. Anyone knows what could be the problem with this?

Here are my graphics setting set up in PCSX2

not sure how much code is needed

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):
[code]
Pasted emulog goes here
[ /code]
CPU : I7 2600K Oc'ed @ 4.2Ghz
Mobo : Intel P67 southbridge
GPU : NVIDIA Geforce GTX 750 Ti
RAM : 6 Go

I'm kinda lost in what you exactly mean, I have found the log you are talking about but I have no idea what any of it means.
What do you mean by enclosing my emulog in code tags?

Add [code] at the beginning of your post, same with a slash at the end of your post
