Frame Rate Drop in Budokai Tenkaichi 3
#1
Hey guys. This is my first time using PCSX2 on my new gaming laptop, and I attempted to play Budokai Tenkaichi 3. I can go through menus fine, but once I get to an actual fight, it'll drop to about 35-40 fps. I only have the recommended speedhacks, Direct3D11 (hardware), and everything else is the default.

My specs are:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
Intel ® Core ™ i7-3610QM CPU @ 2.30GHz
Nvidia GeForce GTX 680M / 4 GB GDDR5

I've only had the laptop for about a week now, so overclocking is out of the picture until the warranty's over at least. I'm pretty sure it's my processor, but is there any way I can fix this issue?

set ee cycle rate to 2, and VU cycle stealing to 1.
Keep in mind 2.3 Ghz may not be enough to get constant full FPS, though
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

Thank you! It might not be a perfect fps, but it's playable, and that's all I wanted. Maybe I'll overclock it down the line and it'll just get better from there. Thanks again
