Frame rate

I'm having trouble getting DBZ BT3 working, when I first start the game the frame rate is at 59-60 where it's meant to be..but then as soon as the playstation logo comes up the fps drops to 30. It does this no matter what, I have tried changing ALL of the settings a hundred different times and I have re-installed twice.
I'm running windows 7 on bootcamp on my mac book pro so my comp specs are good.
Please help me, I just want to play DBZ again!

In order to help you further with your problem, please make sure the following are all provided.

• Your hardware specs - CPU, Graphics Card, Memory, Operating System.
  
• The version of PCSX2 you are using.
  
• Any non default settings you are using.
  
• What games you are trying to play and if you are playing them from ISO or DVD.

PS2 emulation requires a really powerful PC for many games, this is definitely one of those, chances are your computer just isn't up to spec. To be sure though, can you post your CPU and GPU info?
