Hi all, I've come to ask if you can install Free McBoot on PCSX2...?
I was just wondering, as I Free McBooted my PS2 ages ago, and I wanted to do it again (don't know why, hehe)
Thanks

You can't...pcsx2 is missing features that are required to install and use FMCB.

Okay, thanks vsub. Is it to do with the memory cards? I've read on past forums, it's because you hve a virtual memory card... I'm not too sure.

Free McBoot has to decrypt bios files. PCSX2 doesn't do that

Okay, well I just wondering since the emulator has a 'Run ELF File' option, something like that... I thought that you could launch uLaunchELF and Free McBoot your BIOS

You can run uLauchELF(and tons of other programs)on pcsx2 without fmcb.
I can't think of a reason why would you want to have fmcb installed...you can do what fmcb can do without it on pcsx2

What you're saying is, is that if you swap disks whilst it loads the network settings, it'll load the swapped disk instead?
