GA2 Mugen Kairou no Kagi FMV crashes

I thought I'd post about the FMVs that crash GA2 Mugen Kairou no Kagi, just to see if it's an emulator issue or if i need to remake my iso with better settings (if it's an emulator issue, it might help the devs)...

i'm using PCSX2 r1736

(also, could someone tell me why even though i dumped my bios from my own ps2 (scph-790003 slim ps2 PAL Europe) the bios is showing up as being from japan? that's confusing me)

i'd hoped to post about the second FMV that crashes, but that seems to crash without errors...

you can safely skip the FMVs by pressing start so it's not that big an issue, but it still makes me wonder why it happens... any thoughts?

Did you try with the 0.9.6 stable as well? without speedhacks/microVU?

About the bios, no idea but did you try dumping it again just in case?

hmmmm, it works on 0.9.6 stable with everything default/no speedhacks or microvu...
i reset the settings for my r1736 build so it's all default and no microvu or speedhacks but i got the same crash at the same place, i also tried using the stable gsdx in my r1736 build, same thing...
and about the bios, i dumped it twice and got the same result, it works fine, it just shows up as being from japan... weird...
