GS Error Help

Ok, Trying to open the img thu elf/slu it gives me an error opening GS plugin, if i try to open the img from Run cd/dvd i get the error opening the *.img and error opening CDVD plugin.. Any suggestions?
BTW img is on disk.

yeah,, me too,, im experiencing the same problem.. i'm trying to play the img file direct from the cd..here are steps i am doing:

-insert the ps2 cd
-Configure>CDVD plugin> then i select the img from the cd in my drive
-then i try run it,, sometimes it displays "Error loading img" and "Error Opening Cdvd plugin" but when it runs,, it doesn't proceed to the game,, it stays in the "browser" and "system configuration" menu..

how can i run a game without problems like this?

The img on the cd is NOT an image of the game...if that is the case use Peops CDVD plugin after configuring it properly

alternately use the EFP polling plug-in if the Peops CDVD does'nt work
if both not working as said above you need to make an iso using EFP ISO Cdvd driver "Get From Disc" command
that plug-in also check your game disc during iso creating if its clean,no scratch,not exposed disc.

If it's really "Error loading GS plug-in" it could be your video card unless you tell us your full computer specs.

the cd plugin I'm using is cdvdiso. the zerogs version is straight out of svn from today.

try using latest pcsx2 beta: http://forums.pcsx2.net/thread-3716.html but make sure you read Krakatos' 2nd post in this thread: http://forums.pcsx2.net/thread-2333.html

and i dont know what that zerogs-9999 plugin is, so try new graphics plugins here: http://www.pcsx2.net/downloads.php?p=plgn

but I'm wondering, what does having centrino 2 CPU and interlaced core2 duo CPU mean? do you have 2 CPUs? =o i wonder if pcsx2 is compatible with that

I really have no idea. it's a laptop, apparently a centrino, but it's a gaming laptop so ... eh. your guess is as good as mine.

what's your video card? (try googling for GPU-z).
and don't even try it with an AMD Athlon XP, i have that same exact cpu and it'll be sloooooowww.
