GS: Memory allocation failure
#1
Hello everyone!

So after a few days playing without any isue Gran Turismo 4 on PCSX2 V1.7.2208dev, I started getting this GS: Memory allocation failure error when entering a race, which causes the game to be unplayable, with all kinds of graphical glitches. For some reason, when I click F9 to dump the VRam, it starts working fine, even when back to Vulkan. Here you have my logs. As I said, this happened out of nowhere, it was working perfectly fine before. Thank you so much!

You may be running out of VRAM. Try lowering the Internal Resolution or Blending Accuracy or Mipmapping.

yes, Native x6 is WAY too high for GT4, keep it at x3 or lower, also tick "GPU Palette Conversion" and if you haven't also tick "Conservative buffer", it helps.

The problem is its been working perfectly for a week or so with those settings, with no issues at all except night circuits (which are more demanding, so I lower it to x3) and then last night it suddenly started doing that. And as I said, when you do VRAM dump with F9 it starts working as it did
