The game itself is loading.. I think, I can hear the audio when I use the Null GS plugin.

I did try updating my DX runtime from the links provided, but it did not install, stating that I had an equivalent or more recent version, not sure what to do about that short of reinstalling DirectX.

Cheers,
That DX did install, which is a good start!

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to have changed anything - the GS is still crashing.

Any ideas?

That's not right. Have you got a proper driver installed? Have you installed the latest Nvidia driver from nvidia.com?

Your response from it should look like this

Well, I feel like an idiot - I had installed the Nvidia driver on a fresh Win8.1, and saw that the utilities were installed, but apparently it doesn't install the fricken drivers unless you log in to GeForce Experience.

Thanks for all the help guys, lock and/or delete this topic, all solved and runs perfectly now.

That's stupid, did they even do that(not installing the drivers if GeForce Experience but you are not logged in)
After they made this change(requiring registration to use GFE),I stop using it.
When I install the drivers,I just uncheck that option and after the restart everything is working fine.

The auto update is part of GFE so that's probably expected.
