GS plugin failed to open (OCT 2017)

Dear helpful people,

Whenever I try to run an ISO, i get this message plus "your may have incompatible hardware/ drivers".

I have Win 10, and Directx12. The Laptop is a new Gaming Laptop from August 2017, so Im pretty confident it will work. However, it doesnt. I have tried all the drivers there are and nothing works.

The graphic card is a Nvidia. I try to select it when I configure the plugin, and have tried everything (Open GL software hardware and so on).

I always get the error message, however.

As Im relatively stupid with computers, I would appreciate your help a lot. What can i do?

thanks so far. I understand i need to update dirextx to an earlier version. So i copied the files from June 2010 into System32. Sadly still doesnt work. was that correct or ist there a better way?

It wasn't correct.
Just run the provided .exe

you need to extract that directx redist and run setup.exe..."if any?!?" windows automatically download of lacking-needed system files during the installation.
