Try downloading it from here and install it and if you get the same error again,try installing it in safe mode.

Alright I might just be a noob here but i read through all the posts already and tried any of the new suggestions but none of them even work, i even tried installing the directX in safe mode but no joy. This problem is not new for me though. I had a similar directX problem with a Hawx game i bought for my PC where it was missing d3dx9_39 or something like that and i never got it to work so if you guys could help me here it would probably fix that too, who knows but here are my stats.

First, get the 0.9.7 beta full installer. Install that and report back if the problem persists.

O wow, i really didnt expect that 9.7 would solve that but of course that just me being stupid and stubborn, thanks for the help however trivial it seems.

O and any ideas about the HAWX problem i know that doesnt really belong here but just asking.
