I was testing "Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3" with the latest version of GSdx´s plugin (GSdx 872m (MSVC 15.00, SSE41)0.1.12) included in
Ps2 Playground and the game runs perfectly fine at full speed and with no problems it just has a minor bug on the graphics.
There are some sort of added shadows in the game wich makes all levels very dark and the night levels completly black.
Is there a way to turn that filter off? perhaps with a game patch?
ZeroGS´s plugin is very slow and has a lot of glitches but doesn´t show this dark filter over the graphics so I think this is something that only the GSdx plugin does.
I normally use GSdx´s plugin with games the only game I noticed runs better with ZeroGS´s plugin is "Mortal Kombat Armaggedon".

I´m sorry but what it is you want me to search again?
The new forum has about 5 topics for each subject and there is nothing on the issue I´m talking about. The old forum perhaps had something on that.
So I´ll ask again if anyone knows of a solution please post it here.
Peace!

It´s fixed!

you were right, GSdx 1.4 doesn´t have the extra shadows. Now the game plays exactly as it used to in my now deceased PS2.
Thank you very much Rama!
-EDIT- I tested the old plugin with a few of my old games, I was very surprised to see that Vice City Stories runs at full speed now, no more speed lags, no more issues of any kind.
I don´t know what Gabest did with the new version of the plugin but for these two games version 1.4 is the way to go.
