Im having problems with rev's above 1534 on dx10 hw it just crashes with error the exception unknown software exception (0xc06d007e) occurred in the application at location 0x7721b09e
tested on both r1553 and r1564 could you tell me whats wrong

almost any game works fine with dx9 but dx 10 gives me this error i have windows vista lite and xp dual boot

right, that is more clear, the way you made it sound before is that 1538 was causing the crashes

Edit: Conveniently that was the same revision gabest tried to fix the GMA issue, which caused those users to crash too.

Gabest: Think you need to revert that code

Tried latest versions of the plugin in official v.0.9.6 and it also crashed the emulator, so you're right is a plugin issue since rev1549 and latest ones.

yup vista lite sp1 the one that uses less resources on your pc

tnx for the help manage to get it working updated my driver to the nvidiA 190.38 AND it went fine again tnx for the help I was using 190.15 beta of nvidia drivers before so maybe that caused my problem any ways got a question just bought myself a new vidcard today of ebay cheap inno3d 8600gt 512mb ddr2 will this help me to speed up pcsx2

I got Windows Vista Home Premium, not sp1.
I don't think that is an issue of directx since i tried to update it and windows told me that i got the latest one...

The core dlls of the operating system are never updated by the directx updater, only sp1 can install dx 10.1, which I started using about the time you started getting crashes But why don't you let vista update itself to sp1?
