Technically yes, but he doesn't work on PCSX2 anymore Tongue

please focus on direct3d, because if you're a windows user, you should know direct3d is more optimized than opengl (or whatever name is the new version) for windows.
most of pc games are direct3d.
opengl is great for mac & linux users.

can you please help developing D3D while greogory focuses on OGL ?

Gregory doesn't actively develop OGL anymore either.

Actually Direct3D11 just isn't as advanced as OGL, and D3D12 is way too limited to move on to. So OGL is currently the best and it is about as fast(as long as you don't an AMD GPU, but that is due to AMD driver issues, not PCSX2 directly). If you have a NVIDIA GPU and OGL is slower, that is due to the more advanced emulation, not because OGL itself is slower. And the future will be Vulkan, not D3D at all.

you should know that intel & amd gpus are terrible when running opengl apps & games & most intel gpus doesn't support vulkan.
ppsspp developer said the exact sentence to me 2 years ago: future is vulkan, but made d3d 11 renderer for latest version of ppsspp.
d3d is not perfect, but is faster than opengl.
we have to wait for next gen console & pc tech in 2020 (d3d 13 maybe & vulkan) & decide what's works better.

No, they're not. Most OpenGL apps and games run just fine. There are exceptions, but that is not due to the hardware, but because of bad drivers. And most Intel GPUs don't support D3D12 either.

Note: We already have a Direct3D11 renderer. Which you will be able to continue to use for the forseeable future.

if opengl is better, why autodesk uses direct3d in all versions of 3ds max instead of opengl & recommends it?

I guess you could ask them.

maybe because they have a kind of "partnership" with M$
