GT4 Extreme Events Formula GT Race

I take part in the first race where the track is R246. Whenever I reach to around lap 20, my car will slow down to 50 mph and no matter what I do I can't pickup the speed again then I am forced to retire. I use autopilot but I don't this would cause my car slowing down. I hope some people may give me help to solve the problem. Thank you.

Sounds like either tire wear or fuel depletion to me, regular game mechanics

Thanks for the reply. It might well be the fuel problem.
