GT4 Online Installing a wing on any car hangs game
#1
I'm quite new to PCSX2 but I'm really enjoying playing Gran Turismo 4 again. I'm now at the point where I've got enough money to modify my cars but I have a problem:

Every time I try to add a wing of any type to any car (I've tried road cars AND racing cars) it tells me it will replace the current wing (I hit OK), then says that it has done so but when I click OK this time the screen fades, the in-game cursor arrow stays there, the music keeps playing, but it doesn't take me back to the GT Auto screen. I've tried leaving it for 10 minutes but when I came back it was still sitting like that.
I REALLY like to be able to change my downforce so this is killing me.

I've searched the forums but I can't find anyone posting about the same problem. I'm open to any suggestions!

Thanks
Erica

Posting your emulog.txt file
Please post a copy of the emulog.txt file so we can help you better.

Check Tools > Enable File Logging. If it is already checked, ignore this step.
If you ticked the box in the above step, restart PCSX2.
Click Tools > Open Data Directory to jump to your PCSX2 folder.
Reproduce your issue.
Close PCSX2, and do not open it again.
Go back to your PCSX2 folder. Open the logs folder, and upload the emulog.txt file to this channel.

Are you using a mod?

You may need to ask the mod authors: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/m...ed.407875/

I'm using a texture mod but the issue happens whether I'm using it or not (I think). Could my ISO have become corrupted somehow?

OK. It was the online "enhanced" version that was being a problem. Switched to the stock version and it works fine. Thanks all for your help, and sorry for bringing up a non-issue. Smile
