Gadget Racers (PAL) help

Hello! I'm really desperate for some help here.


I've recently turned my copy of Gadget Racers (PAL. SLES-51911) into an .iso and I'm stuck on the in-game language option, as seen attached.


According to the wiki, the PAL version works fine, compared to the UTSC-U version. 

I've tried running the game in the Europe BIOS 1.60 instead of 2.0.0 and still I can't navigate past this menu.
I also have configured my keyboard and mouse and it works on the start-up screen. (Browse / System Configurations) 

Any suggestions are appreciated.

try the latest git/developer version, i think it works better on there.

Okay, I'll try that. Do I need to copy my key bindings over or? I know it's off topic - just want to make a quick note if I do.

if you just overwrite your current version with the git release, it will continue to use your existing keybindings
