He means get the latest developer build from the download section on the main site, then make sure all the hw hacks on gsdx are disabled. Then try hardware opengl (don't confuse it for OpenCL ) and the other DirectX hardware modes

Yes you need to uncheck the "Enable user hack". .gs.dump is generated in the snaps directory. Gs dump is a file with a .gs extension
