First i would suggest trying the latest nightly build from the official website
second advise is to try and avoid custom resolution as ps2 games often are not made for widescreen and progressive modes
and custom resolutions are removed in new versions too afaik.

1. Get latest nightly build and set internal resolution to 3x
2. Enable widescreen patches in graphics options.
3. If you still need help you could post your specs and settings here.

1. Is the fps the same or worse than the older PCSX2 version?
2. Is integrated graphics all you have or does the laptop have a real GPU?
3. Can you post your PC specifications?
4. Make sure the adapter under renderer is set to the best graphics card you have.

i am using core i5 2500

windows 10 64 bit

FPS is not working properly, in the older version of pcsx2 the internal graphics remains the same and wont change and due to this reason the FPS is around 60, only integrated graphics no real gpu.

its already on best i.e. Intel Graphics

We do support at least stable version.
If you want to use 1.4, you're on your own
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

i understand but the issue in 1.4 is not changing the internal graphics to desired resolution where the latest nightly build does it but FPS is less so what setting you recmd for it ?
