Game Speed too fast?!

Sure, the numbers in zzogl 0.21.204 are higher than zzoglPG 0.1.0, but they are totally different plugins, not different versions of the same plugin. ZzoglPG 0.1.0 allows for no log z, which helps the textures in games like KH and FF.

Not to say 0.21.204 might be better in some cases, but I''m pretty sure it's not in most.

Aha, I understand, sorry for sounding like a jerk.

Hmm, did you remeber to install the portaudio package?

EDIT:
Remember to disable the mute option in ZeroSPU, I think it was enabled by default.

Oh I just realized on the pcsx2 site it says that those won't work with the Snow Leopard version. Guess I should have said that's what version I'm using earlier. Or does it still work? -hopefull-

EDIT: Well I tried it and it worked! It seems like everythings working for me for now. Thanks for all your help guys!

ONE MORE QUESTION. I swear this is my last one. d:
It seems to randomly quit on me before I have a chance to save or anything. Is that something to do with the game, or is it maybe my mac's overheating? I feel like it should last longer than only a few minutes into the game though. Are memory saves my only option to fix this?
#15
Hmmm, maybe a bash log please?

EDIT:
YOu better make sure this is the last question, but only if it follows these criteria:
You no longer have problems OR you're dead

Bahaha. It's my last one for now ;D

Sure let me see if I can get it before it decides to quit. It happens really fast and randomly though so its kinda hard to time it.

EDIT: Okay so I tried a different iso this time and it still happened. All I get is "ZZogl: Invalid unpack type" over and over again until it crashes. :\

I had that same thing when I started using PCSX2 Mac, and I made a thread in wich I got answer from Zedr0n, "The Man/Woman"-him-/herself, and he/she said the following:

So I would like to see the whole bash log, not just what you think is wrong, please? ^_^

Is there a "No Logorrithm Z" option in the graphics settings for the plugin?
If there is, then please enable that, if it is enabled, try to disable it. Other than that I must disappoint you, I don't really know, I don't think it is the Invalid Unpack Types that closes your PCSX2 Mac. If it doesn't solve the problem, try to make a new thread withthe title "ZZogl: Invalid unpack type, pcsx2 quits". Hope it works ^_^

which version of snow leopard and xquartz/x11 are you running?

Updating to the newest xquartz (version 2.7) is more likely to do something substantial (especially if you have a rather old version of x11 or xquartz) available here -> http://xquartz.macosforge.org/trac/wiki/X112.7.0

Also, making sure you're on the most current version of snow leopard couldnt hurt if xquartz doesn't help.
