Trying to run Star ocean 3 on the beta client and the game crashes after the playstation logo. Just wondering on settings I should mess with it to get it working.
Error says -
AppName: pcsx2-r3113.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: pcsx2-r3113.exe
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00d4c016

You need to check the Tri-Ace game fix for it to work

Depends on your PC specs and since you haven't posted them, can't suggest anything.

Yes, your CPU is the most important part for the emulation speed

Not much you can do, your processor is slow for PCSX2 and Star Ocean 3 is one of the most demanding games. You can try checking 'native' in the GSdx configuration (it should also be set to DX10 hardware mode in case you have Vista or higher or DX9 Hardware mode)
