So I ripped some old PS2 games to ISOs but when I try to run them in PCSX2 0.9.8 but when launch the emulator takes me to the "Insert Playstation 2 Disc" screen, I'm new to the PS2 emulator so bare with me with a few things, hopefully I can troubleshoot this problem, Thanks.
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit SP1
AMD Sempron 140 (Unlocked to Athlon II X2 4400e)
Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3
Corsair Vengeance 2 x 4GB DDR3 1866Mhz

Not much to go on but it sounds like it could be a bad rip, can you tell us which games you are trying to load
PC Specs -
CPU - i7 2600s
RAM - 8GB DDR3 1333Mhz
GPU - AMD 6570
OS - Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit

The Sims and Need For Speed Underground 2, I've ripped them both using PowerISO

the Sims isnt working with the latest 0.9.8 ( nothing )
so dont expect it to work

damn, was really itching to play that one, along with NFSU2, the Sims 2 doesn't work either, how often are games verified working after updates (if ever)?

those 2 have a PC port you can play them on your PC directly ( i am not spamming the emulator )

Yeah I was just using the other two as a test, is there a list of some kind showing the games that do work?

You probably wouldn't have been able to play them anyway, as looking at your specs your cpu seems a bit weak unless you have overclocked it.
But there is a list of games on the main site which shows what works and what doesn't including which version of the emulator.
