Game run slow at some parts

Found a similar thread but I don't understand many of the specs terms and meanings for them so I'd like to ask and maybe, once and for all find out if I should stop trying to fix it.
Not too long ago I got Pcsx2 to play Devil may cry 1, 2 and 3 but I have this problem with the third one; at some parts of the game everything gets in slow motion, I'm not sure if it's because of the settings for pcsx2 or if it's because of the specs of my pc, which might be kind of old and not very powerful.
Because of that, here are the specs:

Intel Core i7 870 2.9GHz
AMD Radeon HD 5450
8GB RAM
Windows 10 - 64 bit
