Game runs slow/laggy

Before I try the overclocking route I'm gonna give the latest SVN a chance w/ the above mentioned settings. If that doesn't work out then back to the overclocking I go.

How GPU dependent is this emulator? I've noticed my GPU running at only 405 MHz when it's overclocked to 667 Mhz. This means it's only running on low 3D mode. Also my CPU never goes past 1.45Ghz and a ~30% load.

I'm going to try disabling the Speed Step technology and force my CPU to run full speed 24/7. See if that fixes anything.

What is native resolution?

I can say that I am playing GT3 right now and it runs beautifully. I disabled speed step on my CPU, so the CPU is running at it's 3.5Ghz overclocked speed now. Not sure on the GPU as I didn't monitor it.

What's better to run this emulator in? DX9 or DX11? I'm currently running in DX9.

Also I have no speed hacks turned on. I set everything back to default settings when I discovered my CPU wasn't clocking up.

Native resolution is the resolution that the actual ps2 would normally display. Your graphics card is strong enough that you could upscale to 1080p which will make games go from a blurry mess to beautiful. Also you should use DX11.

Sorry, I know what native resolution is. I was asking what is the native resolution? 480i or 480p?

Right now I am just happy that it plays. I will edit the configs shortly. Change it to 1080p w/ DX11?

I believe it is 480i though I could be wrong. Those setting should be good.

Playing the game in 1080P now and it looks gorgeous. Gonna try GT4 again in a second.
