Game runs very slow and sounds robotic

So basically I was just about to record Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, but when the game started the characters were talking as if in slow motion, and they sounded robot like. Then when I got control of the character, I noticed that everything felt like it was in slow motion, and everything (characters, sound effects, music) sounded electronic and mechanical.

I've tried giving the memory card more space, adjusting the graphical settings, but absolutely nothing has worked so far.

In order to help you further with your problem, please make sure the following are all provided.

• Your hardware specs - CPU, Graphics Card, Memory, Operating System.
  
• The version of PCSX2 you are using.
  
• Any non default settings you are using.
  
• What games you are trying to play and if you are playing them from ISO or DVD.
