Games running slow
#1
All my games are running really slow.
When i'm playing dbz the intro and main menu are running fine but when the level starts it runs really slow.
Also happens with other games.
I've tried allot of things, and it still doesn't work.

My pc specs

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.40 GHz
4 GB DDR2
750 HDD 7200 rpm
Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit
Asus Formula HD 5750 1 GB DDR5

Have you tried overclocking? And as far as DBZ which game are you playing I have currently De-clocked my processor to 2.5 Ghz but I manage to get ~40FPS in Tenkaichi3 I'll tell you my settings if needed

depends on what you're calling "slow" (how many fps?)
keep in mind your cpu is a bit weak for pcsx2
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

2.4ghz? Hmm.. might be a quad but if its not 3ghz then PCSX has problems running games fast..
Specs:
CPU - AMD Phenom X4 9850 Black Edition Quad Core Socket AM2+ (940 pin) 2511.36mhz
MB - ASUSTek Crosshair II Formula Motherboard - nForce 780a SLI SPP (MCP Southbridge)
RAM - 8gb DDR2 Dual Channel Corsair PC2-6400
GFX - NVIDIA GeForce 8800GTS 512mb (I do have a 550GT TI 1GB)
OS - Windows 7 64bit/Fedora 13 KDE

well guys we can say your cpu is a bit weak.. if its pentium 1... lets correct our sentence.. your clockspeed is a bit weak for pcsx2 ^^ that is more acceptable

try posting your current ppcsx2 settings so people would have an idea on how to help you.

you should update to latest pcsx2 beta instead. (see downloads section)

I would double check the stuff you got running in the background. Seems like a lot. Also, disable AVG (god knows what that crappy AV is doing).
CPU: i7 930 @ 2.8GHz(Everyday)/3.6GHz(Gaming)/4.0GHz(Encoding)
GPU: Geforce GTX 480 @ 850MHz/1001MHz
Motherboard: ASUS P6X58D-E
RAM: 2x3 6GB OCZ @ 1527MHz 8-8-8-24
