I have been playing FF12 from beggining to the part you got to get the dusk shard, and i have been having mostly a steady 60fps. Now, i even go to rabanastre and get 35fps without no reason. CPU isnt going farther than 34%.
Specs: Q9450 OC. 3.12 Radeon 3870 6gb 1066 Solved: Someone screwed with my cpu configuration.

Puh, lucky you man!, if you dont get what exactly your problem immediately, someone will come to punish your ATI card is main problem in this game. You got something his says "FFXII and ATI Card become bottleneck each other" or something similar like that.

ATI 3870 has been reported more than once as okay with FF12, I beleive.
it's the newer ATI cards that are slow in GSDX with FF12...

don't trust the "% cpu" reading from pcsx2
i was running pcsx2 windowed next to the CPU monitor and it said on pcsx2 it was using 30%, and then on the CPU monitor it was showing 90%
