Games that have the option of progressive scan.

Is it pointless ? Does anything change by using it considering I am already using a resolution higher than PS2 native ?

Interlacing doesn't have to do with resolutions, it's about how the frames are rendered. Read up here. It varies by game how drastic it looks but some have it worse than others.



Of course in motion this isn't really a problem

In general you might as well activate it since it usually doesn't take a hit out of performance. I've noticed in Tekken/SC it cleans up the menus pretty well too
