Getting PCSX2 to compile and run
I can't post in dev forums so I'm posting here -_- ... I'm an old dev. (Didn't code C++ in a while, but don't worry ...)

I'm trying to get pcsx2 to compile in VS2019 community (Win10 x64, always up to date, Geforce 1080ti)... well, it compiles just fine, but I don't see the GDsx plugin when the emulator starts (DX SDK is installed, installer quits when trying to install the sdk's runtime (hehe, is this the prob?)).

When comiling for x64 I see all plugins, even GSdx, but it throws an exception as soon as I start a game and I cant get past that.

... my intentions:
Find out if I can implement texture and maybe even model swapping. I don't care if its slow. I'll probably be able to optimize that ...

Ok I looked up the error with the redist ... I have a newer version it seems ... so ... ... it shouldn't be an issue?
