Will it run? Yes. There will likely be a few spots with slowdowns.

How slow?

Like drop to 45 to 50fps sometimes?

The first question with Laptops is ALWAYS: Do I really need it? Using a Laptop because it's chic is stupid. If you need something mobile for work, it's fine. But as a Desktop replacement it fails. The price/performance ratio is just incredibly bad. If you don't need it for work or something, get a Desktop. You will certainly have more fun with PCSX2 (and other games/programmes) and will spend less money.

Fully @ topic:

The processor is decent, not great. It will run, but I doubt it will run consistly with 60FPS. However the bottleneck is the really, really weak graphic chip. It has very few shader units and the memory interface is extremly small. I do not recommend this laptop for PCSX2.

sadly a desktop doesn't have the mobility of a laptop, so it also has its cons.
as for the topic. it will run, maybe some slowdowns here and there (especially if you run across a shining enemy in the dungeons) but it will run fine most of the time
for the record, I played it and almost finished P4 on a 1.6 ghz core duo laptop and a gma 950 chipset (almost finished because I bought my current one and I finished the game on it) and the speed was quite decent

Run? yes, you'll have slowdowns specially in events(normally around ~45fps in the slow ones but some can get down to 30fps but this events arent really a problem as you avance them manually anyway) and some battles oh and in a couple of the town parts like shopping district and Junes, but yes it will run 60fps most of the time Tongue

I already admitted that. If you need a Laptop because your job/school etc requires it, fine. But as a Desktop replacement, because it's chic...just stupid.

I have a laptop, 2.4Ghz here an almost everything runs flawlessly (i mostly play RPGs too, don't know with games like SotC or GoW. Although i tried SotC and it ran reeeally good since all latest speedhacks).

You'll get a little better specs and you can always OC your proc w/o changin the vcore so it doesn't raise too much temperature =]

oh boy, the temperature... if you plan to use the laptop with pcsx2 on marathonic sessions it's a MUST to buy a cooler. I can't play too much by now because sometimes the cpu temp of this thing hits the 90-100 °C... maybe I should also clean the fan and turn on the A/C.... Dx

Be sure to leave anough room for the side/back vents (airflow). I noticed that in my laptop, just stayin' in the bed, the sheet just covered a bit of the side vent and it made a loooot of difference!
