Um... yes it does.

What's the problem exactly?

By the way, for those who didn't get it:

PCSX2 1.3.1-20151211085228 = 11/12/2015 8:52:28 am

The problem is that without the revision number,it's very difficult to find the rev you are searching for.
Are you going to click on the "Older" button or do random guesses on the page number hoping you'll reach a rev couple of months ago and start hovering on every commit until you find the correct one in that day?

What if you know that a bug exist since certain rev but you only have the date.
How will a dev find the rev and check the code

The developers should change it to the revision number.

My point stands why does download page "G" in front of the revision number, when the first page i listed has no "g"

use the same revision number on ALL pages use that SAME revision number as the

AKA
http://pcsx2.net/download/development/git.htm
if this page says "b1d7f0e"

http://buildbot.orphis.net/pcsx2/index.php
Download page should say this for build "PCSX2 1.3.1-20151021151645-b1d7f0e" and not ADD a G to cause to sane person seeing that without discription they gona think it diffrent build cause the revisions numbing dont match. and the build should say "PCSX2 1.3.1-20151021151645-b1d7f0e" in the pcsx2 title bar and log. looking for the revisions number in the pcsx2 title bar and log is lot easier for people track. what is what.

it all well good if devs can fiqure it but to end user, seeing diffrent revision number on one page and then another for same builds just adds confusion.

I know they said they can't do REvisions numbers that just go up like with the SVN builds but. altest make the same revison both pages and have the program show that revision in the log so there atest some continuation

maybe? alot people wont see it like that. Simple solution i guess is make this page http://pcsx2.net/download/development/git.html
HAve the "G" infront of the actual revisions so all page show same revisions number and there for no confusion, it probably lost harded to get the build bot to put the revisions info in to program so it show that same revision in the titlebar/log

G means git. Revision is an hex number.

then maybe it should say Git-"the hex number" or G-"hex number" instead of G"hex number" ?

lot knew people are just gona see the hex number on one page and another page see g added to the hex number and assum it different if they dont read description, and we all know how read skills go around here Laugh
