The freeze happened off of the memorycard i only did save state once it froze to try and keep progress

then try directly from your original disc AND reload from memcard

Disable the MTVU speedhack and see if you still get issues. Are you loading from a memory card this time?

Can you upload a memory card save or savestate right before the freeze? If you don't have a savestate right before the freeze can you upload the savestate during the freeze?
