Gma 950 and Gsdx
#1
With recent revisions (r14XX) gsdx just shows a black screen.
Everything else runs as if normal, sound, Cpu %, etc..
I updated directx,my drivers,the nvidia toolkit..
pretty much kept up with what is needed.
now I play with r1341
so I was just curious if I am the only person with this problem
It's not super important as I can still play with older revisions Laugh

Yeah Intel doesnt support openGL very well at all.
Was just curious if it was dll related thing even though I get no error.

wikipedia says GMA 950 supports OpenGL up to 1.4
vertexshader ver 3.0 and pixel shader 2.0

but then again I don't trust anything from intel besides CPUs after the nehalem series

True it supports OpenGl but running it is another story Laugh

and the vertex shared is software based, so it can go up 3

Maybe it's Hardware T&L based now
I dont know, since most things, including T&L, are software based on these things

PS software mode doesnt work either
It just stumps me how the screen is just black.. still runs fine, just no image?
I didnt see anything in the svn commits that seem to drastic

GMA 950 is onboard, onboard is very weak
i dont think you can play most games well on it especially since the cpu is an atom

I know its onboard, and it plays 2d games quite well thank you Smile

anyway I tried the newest revision (r1553, i believe) and 1549 and it just crashes

and I get this in the emulog

MTGS > Thread Started, Opening GS Plugin...
MTGS > GSopen Finished, return code: 0xffffffff
