God Of War 2 in game visual glitch with cheats?

So, recently I downloaded two cheat files for god of war 2, and they work as intended. However, when I'm opening menus and hitting enemies/things that would trigger controller vibrations, I'm met with a very brief flash of the You Have Failed screen. I have no idea what is going on :/
