God of War 2 Cut scence missing

Hello. I recently started playing God of War 2 and I noticed there were no Cut scenes. I played God of War 1 on the same settings and it worked perfectly fine. I then downloaded a new God of War 2 but it turned out to be in some other language like Spanish not really sure but it had the cut scenes in them. So what i want to know it this a bug with the English version or is there something else wrong ??
