God of War 2 Help!

After I run the said game, my PCSX2 stopped responding It's just a black screen.

PC specs? PCSX2 settings? plugin settings? content of emulog.txt after you get the problem? do other games run fine?

Yeah maybe it's the specs of my PC. But other games run perfectly.
I have an Intel Core i3
Graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce GT 220 (Very low end)

Change the GSDX to SSSE3/SSE4 the one which your CPU Supports. And make sure the ISO is proper.

The Default Configuration of PCSX2 should work fine for this game.
Enable the MicroVU Recompiler. I think it should work fine.


Well, i didnt' knew God Of War 2 was a CD. I thought it was a DVD9.

Use the latest Buildbot SVN PCSX2 SVN

What is this "Special Features"? is it a mod? Did you wait until it finished searching for layer1?

I think those are the bonuses included with some versions of GoW II.
Not the actual game.

I heard about Special Edition but not about special feature.
