God of War 2 stuck after exiting colossus mouth

As the title says, i'm using latest downloadable version of pcsx2 as of posting this, my specs are:
Ryzen 7 1700
GTX 1080 ti
16gb ram

I'm using the default settings for the emulator, i also tried to change some hacks and setting in the emulator but none worked.

One thing to note is that i had a bonus play run on titan(very hard) difficulty which didn't have this problem and worked fine, but it happened on a new bonus play mortal(easy) run and i can't seem to fix it.
I restarted my run from scratch about 5 times and i always get the same problem.

Basically after destroying the last pillar and jumping out of the colossus mouth, i get the usual cutscene. But after the cutscene either by skipping or waiting for it to end i get a black screen while being able to move and attack normally(i found that out from the sound of moving and attacking).
Reloading to checkpoint doesn't seem to help. any idea?

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

I had a save point before the bug part so i just loaded it and redone the steps to replicate the bug.

- disabling widescreen patch
- loading from memcard instead of savestate
CPU : I7 2600K Oc'ed @ 4.2Ghz
Mobo : Intel P67 southbridge

The log says that you are loading a save state
Try disabling System=>Enable Widescreen patches
Try using fast boot instead of full
Is your image above 7gb(for some reason the log don't show the image type(dvd5 or dvd9)

Yes, as mentioned above I had a save state right before destroying the last pillar of the boss fight so I just loaded into that, I first had the glitch before enabling wide-screen patches, then I turned it on trying to fix the bug. 
And I'm already using fast boot, never used full in a few years. 
And the rom is over 8.3g, I believe that's dvd9

I don't think that loading from memcard would make a difference, since I did a few fresh new runs with the same result.

If you disable the ws patches and then load a save state(not a memory card save),that will also apply the memory address chances that the path applies even if it is not enabled(it is saved in the save state)

Bugs can trigger randomly when using cheats\wide screen patches
For example Valkyrie Profile 2 can do nothing game breaking when you enable the cheats but it saves some kind of information that you did use cheats and when you reach chapter 5,the game freezes and you cannot continue
