This would mean little above 1gb and the game is above 5gb(I don't have the disk\image file here)

oh yeah you are right image is somewhere around yeah 1 gigabyte 
but i got another one in size of 7.94

Use imgburn to rip your disc. This way you won't get any problem and you'll be sure your image is complete
