The boss in this scene is suppose to be in the middle. Because of this glitch I can't kill him with my bow and arrow.

Disable all speed hacks, set EErec and VUrec clamping (in CPU->Advanced) to extra+preserve sign and full. Then load from a memory card save and try again.
