So I don't understand why I have an issue playing some PS2 emulated games I have an amazing computer.
My rig stats are as follows
Intel I7 920 2.67GHz
12 gigs of ram
Nvidia GTX 260
the game runs fine untill theres some action and then it starts dipping down into the low 50s high 40s.
I've set up the plugins as per the guide so I don't really understand

I don't have suggestions that might help, but I would like to correct you that emulation is not the same as native PC games...
That means even though your PC specs were awesome, it's not guaranteed you'll hit 60FPS all the time...

You could try the mtvu hack.
