Gradius III and IV(NTSC-J)
I have Gradius III and IV Deluxe Pack Japanese version for Gradius IV on stage 8 the boss rush for the first boss the Vic Viper(You) Vanishes but when I pause it comes back as well as other small objects such as power ups this all happens after the first boss on the boss rush.

Also for the boss of stage 1 each time it changes form I get a huge drop in FPS.

Anyways to fix this

Because I've tried turning off all speedhacks but still no luck.

I was able to fix this once but I can't remember how

PCSX2 settings? Plugin settings?

Try using a (Software) renderer in GSdx.
Core i5 3570k -- Geforce GTX 670  --  Windows 7 x64
Software render gets rid of the slowdowns but still the Invisable player glitch is still there.

So here is my setting.

Both of them actually.

Software render helped with the slowdown problem and the solution Refraction posted helped with the disapearing problem.
Also can anyone tell me why Gradius III is soo slow unlike Gradius IV's slowdown problem this happens as soon as the game loads it plays at 40-60 in menus and 30 in game not even recorded videos play at 60fps well the sound does but the video is slow.

Are there any solutions or do I need to wait for the next build?
