Gran Turismo 3 no force feedback in nightly
#1
Hello, I am hoping to find a fix for this, or collect enough data to open a github issue. I have a working force feedback wheel in nightly 1.7, I believe it is a Logitech G923, works in Gran Turismo 4, but in Gran Turismo 3 it works without force feedback. The wheel is totally limp, not even the pseudo force feedback from Logitech software is active, it also attempts calibration, so the game has an effect, but there is a bug effectively disabling it.

I went back to stable 1.6 with the USBqemu plugin and tested using the wheel, and despite many, many other flaws, force feedback works.

What logs/dumps do I need to look at to further diagnose this?

Here is the config for the wheel in nightly:

I have also tried the GT Force wheel type and using Dinput, but afik force feedback using dinput is broken? Wheel is no longer limp with dinput, but that is probably due to the game not trying to initialize it.
